The Story of the Elephant
A man sees a giant elephant tied by a thin rope to a
small wooden stake. The elephant could easily
break the rope, but it doesn't. Why? Because when it was
a baby, that same rope was strong enough to hold it.
The elephant believes the rope still holds it,
so it never tries to break free.
Just like the elephant, humans tend to cling to the conditioning of their past —the stories that have shaped their realities and beliefs.
It is often these stories that tend to block a person from discovering the true self. Buried deep in the subconscious, we tend to replay the same patterns, stuck in the same loop, limiting growth. Just by being aware of your "self" - to consciously observe your day to day actions and responses, to other people, to situations, but most importantly to yourself. Observing your words, self-talk and state of mind you are in. Acknowledging your path, your intent, and your actions and become aware of your choices, without letting the past or current situation define us—when you do this, the rope becomes a facade, we break free from old patterns, we escape from limitations, and we reconnect with the true spirit of who we really are meant to be and embrace our true purpose as our soulful selves.

When you choose a piece from the Freedom Collection,
you’re part of something larger than the jewelry itself.
A portion of every purchase supports conservation organizations dedicated to protecting the welfare, safety,
and rehabilitation of all living creatures.
Your choice helps turn admiration into action, beauty into support, and personal meaning into collective good.
Thank you for being here, for choosing with intention,
and for helping shape a more thoughtful way forward.
Together, we give back
My love for elephants began on a field trip with my child's class to our hometown zoo where my connection with elephants sort of shown itself. Two beautiful elephants were about 100 feet away from the fence where I stood - both of them were just standing there right next to each with their eyes piercing my soul. I could see and feel their sadness and their plea. My heart broke for them. I remember thinking about them for days on end. A few months later, I was more than grateful to hear that my local zoo had the integrity and compassion to put the needs of the elephants before greed and profit, creating and enforcing a policy that elephant captivity is unethical and harmful to their health and well-being, and they would no longer have the elephant species at the zoo sending Winky and Wanda to a sanctuary in California. I applaud the Detroit Zoo for their act of humanity and grace, and also for the exceptional care they give to the wildlife still in their care. Sadly, Winky died of chronic arthritis and foot pain only three years of being in the sanctuary, and Wanda lived 10 years of freedom before she passed.
After, I went on an elephant seeking journey through the beautiful country of Thailand to see how they live, with a focus on the sanctuaries that take them in. My heart burst for them and I became deeply passionate by their story. Captive elephants have a very complex story, one that has many, many, layers with regard to their well being and care after rescue. Many sanctuaries mask as sanctuaries, yet still abuse and exploit them only using them for profit, yet others are trying their best do all they can to rescue and help them.
Elephants have been exploited by humans for centuries - hunted as game, poached for their ivory, meat, and skin, enslaved in the tourist industry, circuses, roadside zoos, brutally used in the logging industry. With the growth of population and infrastructures in Africa and Asia, there are frequent human-elephant conflict because the development on these lands cross the migration routes of the herds. They must also deal with trying to survive other wildlife, snares, environmental threats - such as drought, floods, and mud pits.
My goal is to educate and empower people to become aware of the plight of the elephant and all the beautiful creatures on this planet, to understand that animals deserve respect, love, kindness, and the freedom to live a life without fear or pain, or of suffering, and confinement.
THEY DO NOT EXIST FOR HUMANS - for our entertainment, for our medicine, for rides, they are never to be worn on our bodies or clothing, they are not for someone to hunt and kill to for their pleasure. They are the closest animals to humans when it comes to feelings and empathy than any other animal on the planet. If you meet an elephant, they will never forget you! They should be here to live the life they were meant to live, a life of freedom for themselves with their families.
A profound love for this world and all the beautiful creatures that roam it, I’m committed to supporting the charitable organizations
that practice only the highest morals and standards, values and beliefs, toward their elephants as I do, by donating a portion of the profits from every elephant bracelet sold to these specific organizations.
