We pride ourselves in the quality of glass beads, gemstones, metals and other natural materials we use. All metals used in our pieces are lead and nickel free and Made in the USA. SHIPPING

The processing time - the time it takes to prepare an order for shipping, may vary based on the order.

Typically, most orders ship via USPS within 2-3 business days of placing your order. All shipping lead times at checkout are estimates. 

We offer free shipping with purchases over $100, or a $6.99 flat-rate shipping via USPS First Class/UPS Ground. Other expedited options are available at checkout.

Can I edit or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible to request any changes to your order. Our team will try our best to accommodate requests before the order is in transit.  Once the order has shipped, or production has begun for a made-to-order or custom piece, cancellations are not possible.

Please review all product details carefully before purchasing.

Where do you ship to?

We ship orders to any U.S. address. Alaska or Hawaii may require additional time for delivery.

International packages ship with a flat fee of $35. International shipments may be subject to additional customs, duties, and fees, which are the full responsibility of the recipient.

 

REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY

We offer returns on eligible items for exchange or store credit only; refunds are not available. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the order date. Items must be in the original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed, and free from signs of wear or damage. We reserve the right to deny an exchange or store credit if the item(s) returned are not in original condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.  If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. For your protection, it is recommended that you insure the package for the full purchase amount. Shift is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

To start a return, please email us at returns@iam-shift.com with a brief explanation of the reason for the return and provide any photos, if needed. Returns may take up to 14 days to process.

Final Sale Items - All items that are handmade to order are final sale. Personalized items, custom orders, and items marked ‘final sale’ may not be exchanged or returned. Please make sure to confirm your sizing before purchasing a final sale item as there are no exceptions with final sale items.

 

Sets must be returned or exchanged as a complete set, not individually.

WARRANTY

We offer a 1 Year warranty covering material and workmanship defects on all jewelry. This warranty excludes lost items, normal wear and tear, and damage from improper use or storage.

MATERIALS AND CARE

Daily Care

• Try and stick with the rule - last on, first off.

• Keep away from moisture, extreme temperatures, sunlight and hard/rough surfaces.

• Avoid submerging in water, personal care products, cleaning products including bleach, chlorine and other chemicals.

• Due to the many different stones in our jewelry, we do not recommend using harsh jewelry cleaners or 'dipping' your jewelry in a solution.

• Remove jewelry before swimming in a chlorinated pool.

• Always store jewelry separately in a cool and dry place such as jewelry pouch or airtight bag. Moisture in the air naturally causes oxidization to most common metals. Keeping your jewelry in airtight jewelry boxes or zip-top plastic bags to decrease oxidation of metals.
   

What is the quality of the materials you use?

Our jewelry is handmade using various production techniques and methods. This means each piece of jewelry is unique in its own details. Slight variations in dimensions and finishing are natural. All items used in our collections can vary in color, clarity, shape and size. Please appreciate the beauty of natural stones and that no two stones are alike. Shift pieces are made to be perfectly imperfect, mixing and matching metals and stones to ensure uniqueness. When placing an order, you agree to the item’s description and photos.

Czech and Japanese Glass Beads

Our Czech glass components are high quality beads and components manufactured in the Czech Republic, which has been known for hundreds of years for its quality of glass designs.  Japanese glass beads are renowned for their high quality, uniform shape, and vibrant colors, with major manufacturers including Miyuki, Toho, and Matsuno.

Because they are glass, they should be lightly cleaned of body oils and debris with only mild soap and warm water applied directly to the bead and lightly padded dry with a soft cloth.

Precious, semi-precious and natural stones found from the most reputable sellers. While often these stones can vary in shape and size, we cull most unacceptable samples prior to the making process. Because of their natural difference in shapes and color, we do our best to utilize stones that fit the overall size, scale and quality, and cohesiveness of the finished design.

Chains and Findings

We do our best to work with only the most reputable sellers of quality gold or silver, gold or silver-filled, gold or silver-plated, brass, antique brass, yellow brass, and copper, chains and findings. All findings and chains are made in the USA.

 

SIZE GUIDE
Each bracelet, depending on the design and which beads are used, will end up being a different size.

While one size will fit most, the intention for each SHIFT bracelet is to be made to measure in circumference between 6[endif]-->  to 7 inches.

Bracelet size will be shown on each item within its description. Please make sure to look at that and measure your wrist before purchasing.

 

TIPS FOR EASILY FASTENING BALL CHAIN

Most people start with the chain end and go from below the wrist and chase the connector – do the exact opposite:

1. Start by taking the end that holds the connector of the bracelet and drape it over the TOP, BACK SIDE of the wrist and let it hang down.

2. Firmly push your inner wrist/arm TIGHTLY against your body.

3. Bring the chain around the bottom side and let it drop into the connector– don’t try and connect it yet – just slowly pull out from where the chain grabs the connector and then snap it down once that’s done.

4. If this still seems difficult, adjust to where the chain hangs on the back of your arm.

The more you wear your ball chain made bracelet, the more quickly and easily it will go on.
